Canine Academy

Obedience Training & More!

The Central Pet Care Canine Academy offers six week classes for Puppy Kindergarten, Begining Home Manners, and Canine Good Citizen.  The CGC course is for those that are interested in advanced obedience with their dog.  If you would like to enroll in any of our course please call us at 417-358-1300.  Course outlines are listed below

Puppy Kindergarten

  • Potty Training
  • Name Recognition
  • Socialition, Door Respect
  • Sit, Stay, Come, Leave it
  • Walking on Leash

Begining Home Manners

  • Review of Puppy Kindergarten

  • Controled walking

  • Come, Sit, Stay, Heel, Down

  • Automatic sit, Down stay

  • Leave it with obstacle course

  • Fun activities with your dog!

Canine Good Citizen

  • Sit, Stay, Down, Come, Heel
  • Accepting friendly strangers
  • Walking through a crowd
  • Stand, Sitting politely
  • Out for a walk
  • Review for Graduation!
     
     

All pets attending class must be fully caccinated (Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella).  Pets must also be current on flea/tick preventative.
