Current Openings: POSITION #1 Job Position: Veterinary Technician Candidate must be teamwork oriented, have excellent communication skills, and desire to learn and teach others as well as be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within veterinary medicine. Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision of the Medical Director. A degree of creativity and excellent communications skills are required. Education Requirement: Associate or Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Technology or related field preferred. Certification/Experience: Must be licensed or able to be licensed in the State of Missouri. POSITION #2 Job Position: Boarding Attendant/Housekeeping Candidate will be working directly with patients in our boarding facility and hospital giving basic care and assisting with treatments and/or medications as well as light housekeeping. Position requires 25-30 hours per week and every other weekend. Education Requirement: Minimum High School Diploma. Certification/Experience: Previous animal handling experience preferred but not required. No certification required. POSITION #3 Job Position: Grooming Assistant Position duties include bathing, brushing, and animal handling. Some heavy lifting required. Position requires 20-30 hours per week and some weekends. Education Requirement: Minimum High School Diploma. Certification/Experience: Previous animal handling or grooming experience preferred but not required. No certification required. |
