General Surgery

General elective procedures are performed Monday through Thursday by appointment. When scheduling your appointment, our Client Services Technicians will go over with you pre-surgery requirements and can answer any questions you might have. CLICK HERE to download our surgical release document.

Orthopedic Surgery

Central Pet Care Clinic’s skilled Doctors are able to offer your pet several orthopedic surgery options. Ask Dr. Grundy what options your pet may have.

Laser Surgery

We are pleased to offer laser surgery as a safe option for comfortable treatment. In many procedures, the laser can replace the scalpel and provide a better alternative to traditional surgery. Radiographs

Central Pet Care Clinic is able to offer you and your pet the comfort and convenience of an in house radiology department.  Radiographs are able to be taken and interpreted while you are at the hospital, allowing us to provide you and your pet timely results and treatment.

Dental Cleanings & Extractions

Pets have teeth too! Did you know that periodontal disease not only contributes to bad breath; it can also lead to very serious medical conditions. Central Pet Care Clinic includes a dental check-up with each annual wellness exam. If a dental cleaning is recommended, our Doctors and technicians can provide your pet with a thorough scaling and polishing.

On-Site Laboratory (In-house Diagnositcs)

Central Pet Care Clinic’s in-house diagnostic laboratory offers you and your pet results in minutes rather than days on most tests. This means a quicker diagnosis and more timely treatment for your pet.

Having an in-house lab also means we are able to offer a more comprehensive wellness check for our geriatric patients as well as presurgical blood tests for our patients prior to surgery.

Pharmacy

Central Pet Care Clinic Pharmacy is designed to offer you the convenience of having your pet’s prescriptions filled right here at the hospital. You can also call in your pet’s prescriptions, we will be happy to hold them at the front counter or mail them to your home. Your pet’s prescriptions can also be refilled on-line with the Central Pet Care Clinic “Pet Portal”.

Preventive Health Care

Central Pet Care Clinic recommends that your pet have a wellness exams at least once a year along with vaccinations. If your pet is seven or older we recommend wellness exams at least twice a year. This will allow you and the Doctors to notice subtle changes in your pet’s health more easily. Along with regular exams Central Pet Care Clinic recommends that your pet stay on heartworm preventative year round. Once a year testing should be done to ensure your pet is free from this parasite. It is also helpful to regularly apply flea and tick preventatives to help rid your pet of these irritating parasites. Ask any Central Pet Care Clinic representative to recommend the best product for your pet’s needs.

Vaccinations

Keeping your pet current on their vaccinations is the first step to keeping them safe from contagious diseases. Ask Dr. Grundy which vaccinations your pet needs to stay safe and healthy.

Nutritional Counseling

Central Pet Care Clinic has a variety of diets available for your pet including Eukanuba, Iams, Science Diet and Purina. Dr. Grundy can assist you in choosing the food that is best suited for your pet’s lifestyle.
